In Indian market Lenovo is one Chinese brand which could not become a strong player in the smartphone segment. It is despite the fact it is among the top brand in the laptop and also a good player in tablets. Most of the revenue for this brand comes from these two categories only.

Lenovo is well known for quality laptops at competitive price in India as compared to other brands like Dell and Samsung. They have laptops which are suitable for both professionals as well as individual consumers. Like wise they have tablets also but in recent time we have not seen many models coming out.

One of the key reason why Lenovo could not become strong player in smartphone is very high competition. The pricing competition was so high as many Chinese players were trying to make their foot hold in Indian market. The brand even have 4G models but they could not get much response. We may see 5G models also from this brand in 2022 but the chances of success are quite limited.
